The 2nd Moonwhite Films International Film Fest (MWFIFF) 2019 was held at INOX Metro cinema in Mumbai.
Founder of Moonwhite Films International Devashish Sargam, son of renowned astrologer Pandit Suvashit Raj, is also the founder of this unique Film Fest ascertaining its uniqueness stated, “It is Anup Jalotaji’s support that has contributed towards the success of this festival. We have selected feature films, shorts, documentaries and even Web Series which is in itself an unique concept.”
Devashish Sargam was launched as a singer by T-Series with his solo ‘Khat’ and then was selected by B4U Television Channel as the artist of the month. He has been a writer for films since 2015, notably for the short films ‘Kill Hand’ (nominated in film festivals in over 7 countries) and ‘The Stone Girl’, Devashish continued writing and directing shorts for several government bodies including the film ‘Dengue – The Killing Machine’.
Several celebrities of the music world attended this occasion with Bhajan Samrat Padamshri Anup Jalota, well-known singer Jaspinder Narula, D Y Patil, Sujoy Mukherjee, Pandit Suvashit Raj and several International representatives who also joined this fest.
Devashish Sargam revealed that this year they have received around 122 films from over 17 countries around the globe out of which approx 23 movies will be screened in two days. Entries from Iran, Israel, France, Germany, USA, UK, China, Japan and New Zealand have been selected to be screened at this years Moonwhite Films International Film Fest.
Actor Ashish Vidyarthi, Aanjjan Srivastav and Veenah Naair starrer short film ‘Painted’, directed by Anvita Kamath was premiered at this Moonwhite Films International Film Festival (MWFIFF).
